I'm originally from Germany and this was pretty authentic. The Goulash Soup was the first real German tasting soup I've had in America and I've been here for 30 plus years. Ofcourse the one I make at home is authentic. They also have curry ketchup u can order for your fries. Sadly they don't have the good ole dish called Currywurst MIT Pommes. Maybe something to add to your menu, guys? Just a thought. You already have the sauce 😉
This place was excellent! I especially loved our service. Frankie was excellent. We had a large group with 11 people, all separate orders. He was cheerful, social, and skilled at his job. The food was very good. Nice to have something different. Very cozy, fun atmosphere.
We haven't been to this location in a while and arrived in time for happy hour. The King's Gold is still a great beer! I ordered the sausage sampler, the goulash soup, and the wife ordered the potato soup. For a salad I chose cucumber. It was all delish! Amy is an amazing server!

Das boot opened promptly at 1130 Sunday with a full menu available. We selected the grilled sausage sample appitizer with german mustard. My wife selected weiner schnitzel adding red cabbage as extra side. I ordered cheese spatzle w/ chicken and cheese brat and hot German potate salad. Our desserts were german chocolate bread pudding generously covered in chocolate syrup with whipped cream and apple strudel cover cinnamon and whipped cream. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the love in it. This is a good alternative to royal Bavaria reatuarant hours and the staff is awesome.
This is a great place for authentic German food! I have been here many times and have never had anything bad. From the beer to the schnitzel it is all wonderful! They have an awesome selection of house brewed german beers that are out of this world! I strongly recommend checking this place out! Also make sure to get a 1 or 2 litter boot!
We stopped by for an early dinner as we drove home for Christmas with our 2yo and 1yo. The staff were very kind and the menu variety was wonderful. The size of the entrees is perfect if you want to be full but not stuffed. But if you are a big eater you may want an appetizer or dessert. Our only complaint is that the only changing table is in the ladies bathroom so my husband was unable to help change diapers. So if you are a dad taking your small kids for dinner you would not be able to change their diaper. Aside from that we loved it.
Omg the food was just fantastic! I have to say I was incredibly skeptical stopping off on our road trip home for German food but this place was impressive! Pricing was incredibly reasonable and their happy hour was great. It's a small place but I noticed they accommodated a fairly large party of 8. Our server Brantley I believe was amazing (sorry if I got your name wrong I lost my receipt!) But all the staff seemed to work together well and accommodate all the guests in a timely fashion. Absolutely would recommend again!!! We got the sausage plate appetizer, jagerschnitzel and Jager roast and all of it was just exquisite! Definitely worth the 10ish min detour from i35!
All the food was really good and delivered on the flavors that the menu described. Every sausage had a unique flavor. I also really enjoyed the curry ketchup. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
